  • Committee Opportunities

Committees are a great way to take full advantage of your Pickerington Area Chamber Membership. We are a member-driven organization; Chamber committees make decisions regarding the direction of our efforts in government relations, business advocacy, programming, and events. Participation in committees is open to all members in good standing. Have a say in how your Chamber is run: Join a Committee!

  • Ambassador Committee

The Ambassador Committee assists in increasing engagement and retention rates by welcoming new members, visiting/calling less-engaged and nonrenewing members, encouraging involvement, explaining benefits, answering questions, and making members feel appreciated. Essentially, ambassadors help keep the channels of communications open between the membership, Chamber staff, and the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Monthly meetings are held to receive contacts and stay up-to-date on Chamber initiatives. An Ambassador needs to be in a position that allows the freedom and time necessary to fulfill the duties of the committee.

  • Business Advisory & Advocacy Council

The Business Advisory & Advocacy Council is committed to helping all businesses—new and established, successful and struggling, big and small—to reach their goals. We strive to be a trusted resource and a liaison with local government. Our meetings include reports on economic development in the area, visiting speakers to help us understand how the City and Township operate, and information so we can knowledgably advocate for issues that support a positive, pro-active business environment. This committee is open to any Pickerington Area Chamber Member. It meets monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 9-10 a.m.

  • Programming Committee

The Programming Committee assists in the planning and development of Membership Luncheon topics, securing speakers, and assisting with other events as needed. Committee members review survey feedback and discuss future topics and speakers. Committee members with connections throughout the Columbus Region can help us engage new speakers and bring fresh topics to our members!
