The CEO serves as the principal representative of UWFC and is responsible for leading the organization in achieving its mission to improve lives and strengthen our community. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, a passion for collaboration, and a track record of impactful leadership in the nonprofit, corporate, or public sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve annual campaign goals and expand UWFC’s resource base.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, local agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to set organizational priorities and implement policies.
- Act as the public face of UWFC, promoting its mission and fostering goodwill within the community.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in nonprofit, corporate, or public administration.
- Strong relationship-building and fundraising skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
- Knowledge of Fairfield County and a passion for serving its communities is preferred.
